Dear Mrs. Tucker and family, I send my sincere condolences to you all during this time. I want to fittingly honor Albert "Abby," because he played a significant role in my development as a young motorcycle mechanic and ultimately my career path. I remember vividly when I first began working under his leadership at the HWP Cycle Division, how he invested time in explaining mechanical principles to me because I didn´t have any formal training. He became a mentor to me, unlocking my potential, and taking personal care in seeing me succeed. It was through his mentorship that I developed into a skilled tradesmen, even skipping over a trade band in the process from an apprentice. Abby played a huge role in helping to secure employment for me after I left the company in 2000, spending a short time away in the USA, and when I returned to the island he began preparing me for future studies at American Motorcycle Institute. Again, after leaving the island for technical school, Abby gave me assurance that if I ever decided to return home that he would help to secure my employment, this time as an A1 Technician. He always pushed me to excel in life and it was through this mentorship that I became a licensed motorcycle mechanic. Abby was kind, hard working, and fair leading the team as the Foreman. He always did his best to give good customer service and held the team of men accountable to do the same. He loved a good joke and he helped to create a work environment that we resembled more of family than just being work colleagues. I also remember how much he loved to share about his family´s achievements too; he was always proud of them. Likewise, I am very proud of his personal achievements, especially when he stepped out in faith opening up ABC Cycles. Even then, he continued helping me to develop professionally. The last time I saw Abby at the shop, we reminisced on old times and it was a pleasure to have that fellowship with him. He will forever be missed in my heart and I am grateful and indebted to his selfless character in helping me to be who I am today. Thank you boss; your legacy will continue to flourish through those you sowed seed into.

Tamara and family, please accept my sincerest condolences from me and my family. It was my pleasure to know and work with Abby. He came to us at PW's as a wide eyed curious you man but under the guidance and along with Alvin Outerbridge developed into one of the most knowledgeable and efficient cycle mechanics in Bermuda. He was meticulous in everything and at every problem he was required to solve and after Alvin left he ran the show in a most efficient manner. His dream was always to have his own shop and I was so proud of him when he came to see me to let me know he had. I had moved on by then to work in insurance and it was always such a pleasure to visit his shop. We would always shoot the breeze about the old times good and bad. Abby was above all a very proud family man and rest assured he would always speak of their accomplishments with that wonderful smile on his face. May God Bless you all and be guided by the memories you all share and the knowledge he is in heaven looking over you. SIP my brother until we meet again. DH
