With great sadness, we announce the passing of Anthony Grant Darby on July 27, 2025. Grant, as he preferred, was a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. To cherish his memory he leaves his wife, Penny Darby, children, Dinah, Savanna and AJ Darby, and grandchildren. Please join us for a memorial service or "Send Off" to celebrate his life on August 16th at West End Sail Boat Club, from 5-8pm. I remember Grant very well back in the late 70s and early 80s. A good friend and a great bartender with a unique sense of humor, also a good singer when
"Men at work" played down under on the radio.

My deepest sympathies for the whole family, I knew Grant well all through Saltis and lost touch shortly after he and Penny married. I was a big presence where he was, I´m sad we lost touch. My best wishes to you all during this tough time.

Penny, and darby family, please accept my most humble condolences on the passing of grant. We were childhood friends and he was always a guy that people looked up too. I am shocked to say the least as to his passing. Prayers for the family at this time
