My beloved sister has left us with a heavy heart and great sadness, but knowing she has gone to be with the Lord, and alongside our ancestors, this gives us peace and comfort. Barbara as young school girl was a star athlete, always first or second, she was also great on the netball field. She was also a canadate for the 1952 olympics in Helsinki, but unfortunate circumstances got in the way and she was not able to participate. Barbara loved people, always helping some one and always giving to those in need. Our family was a family of 13, a church going family. Barbara met her husband in Bermuda and a little later moved to Atlanta and was married to Dan Ingram on January 21 1961. Many years later she lost her beloved husband, but she kept the faith and was guided by her faith until the Lord called her home, from this world to be with him for her eternal rest. God speed my beloved sister, you are in the arms of Jesus John 14.1-3.

Your brothers James and David will miss you dearly. Rest in peace, in the arms of the angels, your parents Gwendolyn and William Hughes, brothers Jevan and Ethelbert sisters Mary, Irene, Sarah and Florence as they carry you to heaven. We will miss you!
