My Sincere condolences to Carron and all of Stanley's extended family. I first met Stanley around 1955 at Whitney Institute and remained a friend and classmate until graduation in 1964.
He was a true friend, fellow athlete sharing many victorious moments in school and interschool meets, and fellow prefect in later years.
He will be missed greatly by all who met and got to know him
May he rest in peace

Family and loved ones-
Stanley was a Prefect at Whitney Institute while I was Head Boy in 1962-63. Wow! That was B.C. (Before Computers). Mr. R.Cripps-Brown was Headmaster. Our Form Five classmates were very close friends including Desmond, Penny, Brian, Lynn, Carmen, Pat, Doug, Sandra, Brenda, Billy and others. What a neat guy and good athlete. Some people come into our lives. They leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never ever the same. Goodbye Stan. See you in the morning!

Carron , Jenny Craig Michelle, Courtney and Sydney, it was such a shock when I heard that Stanley had passed away. I had such a lovely conversation with him a few days prior to that and he was so optimistic and excited to get out of hospital that I knew he was going to get over his illness I still cannot believe that he is no longer with us. I know he fought hard and he was determined to get better. He spoke so beautifully about Carron and that he had to get back to her as she needed him He was also very concerned about Jenny ,Michelle, Courtney and Sydney and very happy that Craig was there to take care of them whilst he was recovering in hospital. I feel so honoured and Blessed that I was able to have that last conversation with him. My heart goes out to the whole family He was such an integral part of all of us .I am sooo terribly sad and Disappointed that I cannot get to Bermuda to be with all of you . In the 29 years that we knew Stanley we never saw Him frown or depressed or miserable.. , He was always ready for everything that life threw at him and always with a smile We saw him and Carron practically every year when we visited Bermuda and he was always excited to see us and we him. Heaven truly gained a beautiful soul when he passed on and he is going to be missed so badly He was a very loved human being.
Harry, Anne, Hamish, Sonia,Murray you are all very much in my prayers As well . Stanley was your family, but always a true friend to all of you and you to him. With much love , may God be with you all at this very tough time in your lives. Annchen Bodenstab and family. Saskatchewan, Canada

Beyond sad! I met Stanley in 1961 when I first attended Whitney Institute! I do not recall the "rules" but I recall we and others would go down to Flatts and maybe have a milk shake at the Halfway House...or up and around to his family home in Pokiok! His warm smile never changed! I last saw Stanley at Lindos with his dear wife Carron. My heart felt sympathy to Carron, Jenny and Michelle.
