My sincere condolences on your loss. Bernie was one of my first business contacts in Bermuda 25 years ago when he was associated with Al Wharton and from that point forward I had the pleasure of many many visits and conversations with him. I recall well the times that we had dinner together on the Island and am sincerely appreciative of the strong relationship and support given me and my company.

Suzette, Josh and family, I am saddened by Bernie's early transition. Bernie was a true fighter to the end. He has left an indelible mark on many through his business, community involvements and philanthropic efforts. May the good memories he left behind add further value to the man he was. My deepest sympathies to Suzette, Joshua and Bernadette. Bernie was always a cheerful and accommodating gentleman. I remember him well at St. Michael's. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We will forever remember Bernie as a very good friend, who was always cheerful and prompt to help whomever and whenever help was needed. Our lives were enriched by his friendship and we consider it a privilege to have counted him among our friends for all the years we lived in Bermuda, a country he (and we) loved so much. Our hearts and prayers go out to his wonderful family that he loved so much, his devoted wife Suzette and his children Joshua and Bernadette. May God give them solace in this difficult time.
