Beryl Gilbert Obituary

A service celebrating the life of Mrs Beryl Eloise GILBERT, wife of the late T Minton Gilbert, daughter of the late Ernestine Simons and the late William Simons; mother of the late Minton Gilbert Sr, the late Marilyn Saunders and the late Dean Gilbert, in her 86th year of 'Gilmar' #14 Valley Lane, 1st Floor Apt East, Sandys Parish MA 05, will be held at St Mary's Anglican Church, Warwick on Friday, November 28, 2014 at 2pm. Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION: AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick on Friday, November 28 FROM 12.30-1.30pm. She is survived by her grandchildren - Minton (Nerissa) Gilbert, Makese Gilbert, Deana Marie (Joell) Rose, Juana (Sergio) Burgess, Tika Gilbert; ten great-grandchildren; siblings - Dorothy Bean, Wilbur (Ephraim) Simmons and Thelma 'Sally' (Randolph) Dickinson; also by in-laws Joan Simons, Gleena Gilbert, Curtlene (Allan) Wilson; daughters-in-law Faith Gilbert and Rose Marie Watts, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to name. She was predeceased by grandson Jevon (LaTasha) Saunders; siblings - Eilene (Arthur) James, Gladys (John) Mc Millian, Alice (Edward) Rawlins, Virginia Simons, Raymond and Carl Simons also brother-in-law Naurice Bean. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of Hospice, Suite 124, 48 Par-la-Ville Road, Hamilton HM 11 in her memory. AMIS Memorial Chapel

Sorry to hear of Mrs. Gilbert's passing. She was a very special friend to my Granny (Martha Martin) and I have memories of going UP to the house in Southampton for her to do our alterations. I think she also made my high school prom dress. She was the sweetest, warmest lady yet I wouldn't dare the fool in her house. May your memories comfort you.

We, too are loved ones of Beryl and were privileged to know her. She has now gone to be with family who went before her, in particular her children and especially her beloved grandson Jevon who was also our grandson. What a happy time for them

It is sad for us but we rejoice in the knowledge that she is with family
