To James, Josephine and entire family,
Condolences extended on the loss of your beloved sister. Bessie will be remembered fondly through her athletic pursuits and more recently through her proclaiming the love of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour via the Worship Room.
May the love of God comfort and strengthen you.

To the family of Bessie Horton,
You have our heartfelt condolences. May God comfort you at this difficult time. Bessie will be fondly remembered as an excellent carpenter who joined Works & Engineering during the time I was a Supt. It was rare to see a lady in a man's world at that time, but Bessie could hold her own. Take courage as we look forward to that glorious day when Jesus will come and put an end to all sickness, pain, death and sorrow!
Sincerely,
Cranston & Marlene Warren

It was such a shock to learn of Bessie's transition. She had a brilliant mind and a strong, if sometimes contentious, spirit. She was always up for a good conversation, even when we disagreed. It is a real comfort to know she found peace in her faith in her later years. I send sincere condolences to her loved ones.

To the Horton Family, Bessie has been a friend from Somerset and Berkeley. Always had something to say whether it was a greeting, or just give her opinion. Recently I would hear her on the Beverley (Magic) show. Bessie we had many memories from John Smiths Bay to Cricket lane Somerset. May you RIP and may your family be comforted by the many memories.

My good friend Bessie! I am so sad to hear of your passing. I will cherish memories of knowing you since high school, and working with you in later years as a nursing aide.
