My dear friend Betty has gone from the earth physically but whenever we get together with our mutual friends, there she is in the midst of us as we always have some memory to speak about at our lunch time meetings. Linda Coxall, Lyn Hall and myself Pat Adderley, we surely miss our friend.

Late but not forgotten.
I was very saddened when I read that Betty had passed away.
Betty and Brian took me under their wing when I first arrived in Bermuda in 1960...better friends one could not have.
Betty always had a friendly smile and a wonderful outgoing personality.
I always remember my favorite Pan Am girls - Betty and Ann - walking to work each morning on Front Street.
We all share your loss , Brian.
Betty was one of a kind and will be missed.

Betty and I worked together at Eastern Airlines in Hamilton Bermuda for 5 years. We continued our friendship after I returned to the United states and she visited us several times over the years.
She was a wonderful individual and would do anything for you and although people might have thought she was a tuff cookie, she had the heart of gold.
Brian, you may not remember me but I certainly remember your energy and dedicated work in the police force and your admiration for the sea and looking for treasure. I will miss Betty

To Brian and Family,
hearing the news of Betty's passing, brought back many happy memories of our school days at BHS-we were good friends in the early days. As we grew up we went our separate ways-I moved to NZ and our paths never crossed again-but the happy times are with me today.
Rest in peace dear fiend, till we meet again.

To The Malpas Family:

Kindly accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother.

I've known Betty for quite some time while working at the airport some years ago and then again recently at the CTO in Hamilton where we had to liaise from time to time.

I can tell you that she was a stickler for professionalism on the job as she was a no nonsense person who had "old school" values in this society today. I admired that about her!

She often spoke of her boys and grandchildren and had many stories to tell. She loved all of you so much and was proud of each and every one of you.

I pray that God will grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding during this time. Hold onto the many cherished memories, they will sustain you.

It is obvious from all the messages here that Betty was a much loved wife, mother and friend. I knew her best as a generous supporter of charitable causes. When she could, she gave airline tickets to help important causes - then often personally purchased tickets to the fundraising event.
It was a privilege to have known and worked with her. My sincere condolences.
