To this day I still think and dream about you alot Uncle Bilal! Still feels unreal that you are gone, I wish I could honestly say it made me stronger, but I'd be lying if I didn't say my heart is still shattered but I do still watch our favorite show! I know they say time heals all wounds but they never said how much time.

There are no words to express the depth of your loss... I didn't know your husband/father/brother/son personally, but I know love, so I can just imagine. Thankfully however, like you, I know Jesus.. He will be the lifter of your head and hearts in the days, weeks, months & years to come.
May the peace of God be with you until you meet Bilal again.

Absent from the body BUT present with The Lord - what an AWESOME promise of Eternal Hope we have as Christians; and what an AWESOME promotion for our dear Brother Bilal to NOW be among the milions of WORSHIPPERS gathered around Our Father's Throne! And we're VERY SURE that he is taking a LEADING ROLE in this Heavenly Choir of Worshippers!!! Hallelujah! WHAT A WORSHIPPER our dear Brother was!!!
And yet, we can only imagine the empty void that his absence from the body has brought to each of your hearts. We're thinking of you daily and praying for you with heartfelt intercesion. May God grant you the Grace daily - to do the natural things that need to be done IN HIS STRENGTH. Amen.

To the entire family,....what a privilege to have worshiped with your dear Bilal...to lift the songs of Zion in high praise...the man loved to worship his God in song! I remember the back hand flip as he danced like King David with ALLLL his might! To Mrs Furqan, Farad, and the entire Furqan family, I am deeply saddened by hearing of the loss of Bilal. I knew Bilal through him coming to Gorhams to buy lumber. He was always pleasant, friendly, and respectable. An all around great guy. He will be missed.

Dearest Michelle, Children and the entire Furquan & Simmons Family,
We are so saddened to hear of Bilal's passing...yes, gone too soon, but certainly never forgotten. He will always be remembered for the special gift of song that God blessed him with. We gave some pictures to Rory to give to you from the fellowship cruise that we all took to the islands and the guys sang on stage...of course Bilal being the lead singer...smile! It was the highlight of the night for sure! Those are just some of the special moments that would always be remembered. Hold strong to your faith and God WILL see you through this time and season.

My deepset condolences to the Furqan family at this time. I met Bilal many years ago when he was beginning a brand new chapter in his life. At that time he introduced the song, "Welcome Into This Place" to the DCL Unity Choir. He taught us the words and the melody, and it became an integral part of our singing ministry from then on. Such a beautiful smile and humble Christian demeanor Bilal had. He will be greatly missed.
