I was shocked to hear that Reverend Lloyd Duncan had passed. At first, I refused to believe it. Once realized to be true, in the midst of sadness I heard a voice in my mind saying, "Well done though good and faithful servant." There was always something special about the Reverend I would observe from a far. It was not surprising to watch him excel in the Lord. Be encouraged that he now rest in the arms of our most faithful Lord. My deepest sympathy to the family. I pray for your comfort and strength during this difficult time.

To sister Shanda and the rest of the family, our sincere condolences to you all during your time of bereavement. Lloyd was a colleague of mine on the Bermuda Police Service. He was such a very friendly person and definitely a man of God. May the God of all comfort be with you all. He is absent from the body and present with our Lord.

My deepest condolences to Dr Shanda, Shaloi and Joshua as well as Mother Duncan, Winston and John. It is with sadness of heart that I feel during this time of your loss. My prayer is that you will be strengthened by the fond memories of the impact your husband, father, son and brother made to our community at large. May God Himself will bring peace in the midst of the sorrowful days ahead. As you lay Bishop's remains to rest, remember to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.
