A private graveside service celebrating the life of BRENDA NELL MELVINA HUNTER (NEE THOMAS) in her 86th year, of #52 Horseshoe Road, Southampton was held on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Daughter of the late Edward (Ebby) Thomas and the late Hewlett E Thomas (nee Busby); loving mother of Stanley M Thomas (Karen), Sherrie S Outerbridge (Randy) and Kim Smith-Barr (Gaham); sister to Stanley A Thomas.; A loving grandmother to Nicole and Kyan Smith (Tara), Mikal Thomas and Sascha-Smith-Jensen; great grandmother to Maceo and Malia Smith; godmother to Patricia Ming-Wilkinson, Donna-Mae Gomes and Anthony Seaman.She will be remembered by her nephews Marico and Belcario Thomas; nieces Darlene, Bethanne, Edwina, Sandra, Marquita, Esther and Cyanne; and 17 great nieces and nephews. She had many friends, to name a few Seventh-day Adventist Church Family; Chaplin Dr Kevin Santucci, Rev Dr Leonard Santucci, June Hayward, Sissy Ming, Joycelyn Rogers, Dr Brandlyn DeShields, Arnold Cann, Charles Virgil, Kathleen Ford, Robert and Ann Bassett, the Sunday Social Riders and a host of other loved ones.She is predeceased by her brothers Edward (Eddie) and Frederick (Freddy) Thomas; her sisters-in-law Clara (Freddie) and Cynthia (Stanley A)Thomas; nephew Dennis and niece Paula.Special thanks to the KEMH staff, Doctors Arscott, Morton and Benson, the staff of Agape House, Amis Memorial Chapel & Crematory and Pure Memories.AMIS Memorial Chapel & Crematory
