Not many people can face each day with the struggle that Brian possessed with a huge smile on his face. I wish to extend my sincere condolences to Brian's wife, children and family.
I feel like I have known Brian all my life and was always honoured to call him a friend.
We reconnected a few years ago and it was as if we had never been out of contact. We regularly conversed via WhatsApp always expressing love and respect for each. We often ended our chat with "Love you Bro".
I recall the tears of joy I had in my eyes when I heard Brian had been given a sponsor's exemption for the Butterfield Bermuda Open and while I watched him during his rounds on t.v.
For as long as I knew Brian he was always smiling and he had a way of making you feel like the most important person in the world when in his company.
Throughout his illness he remained positive and upbeat because that was he was as a person.
He will be sorely missed but his impact and positivity will never be forgotten.

Dear Laurie,
I realize that there are no words that will fill the void left in your world with the passing of Brian. Nor are there suitable adjectives that could adequately describe all that Brian was to so many people.
I can only tell you that Brian was one of the most loveable, humble, and funny characters that anyone could wish to know.
I was privileged to know him from the age of eleven and cannot help but smile when I think of him.
Bermuda has lost a light so bright that he will shine for many years to come.
He has been an inspiration to many including me, for the way he delt with the medical challenges he faced.
He was a shining example in how to deal with adversity.
I am comforted that I was able to spend a little time with both of you on my visit to Bermuda in January.
May the memories of the years you spent together, although too short, be a comfort to you as you face life without him.
Rest in peace Brian, you are already missed.

To Laurie, Children & Family,
Our heartfelt condolences we have found memories.
Brian was like a son to us growing up in Sousa's Estate and when we moved he would still visit us in Kilderry. He always had you laughing when he was around.
We are really going to miss him but he faught a good fight and was an inspiration to those that suffer with cancer.
May he rest in peace as he is looking down on us with that smile.

I never knew Brian but just knew of him trough his buddy golfer Bo. I love his videos that had me laughing til I cried. I'm sure he's gonna be a huge miss to all he touched with his life. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Brian. I have known him since he was a little Bye. The Morris family were our next door neighbours and many enjoyable evening was spent with his late uncle Derek , Father Dennis who lived in our apartment downstairs for a time, the family dinners and laughter . I also will remember the funtime working with him setting up the PGA cameras crews on those early mornings. Always a lot of fun. Brian had a good heart and loved his family and friends. I will miss this colourful character, great Bermudian and sportsman. RIP Brian
