Bruno Zupp Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of Bruno Alexander Zupp, aged 72, of Grantham, New Hampshire, United States; pronounced dead on the 11th February 2025. Born in Germany in 1952, he moved to the United States in 1959. A photographer by trade with a keen interest in Vietnam veterans and environmental issues, he was also a Buddhist and spent several years at a United States monastery, and received a medical diploma from the United States military. He lived in Bermuda for many years and was fond of its people, its art, and its weather. He is survived by his son, Walker Zupp; his ex-wives, Pama R. Miller and Frances Ann Spurling; and 5 siblings. Zupp was a keen outdoorsman, a woodworker, a voracious reader of history, religion, and physics; he enjoyed the films of Akira Kurosawa and Alfred Hitchcock; the music of Frank Zappa and countless other composers; the novels of John Le Carré, Vietnam memoirs, and various Zen Buddhist texts. Without a doubt, a believer in human art. His last diary entry was simple: "Car â€" returned." His ashes were scattered in Bermudian waters
