My sincere condolences to the family! I went to Air Traffic Control school with Keechy back in 1995...he, along with me and three others, were the first Bermudian ATC Aerodrome controllers. This is a total shock to me. My prayers goes out to his entire family.

To all that loved Burton AKA Keechy:
After viewing Keechy's homecoming service via YouTube, this message of comfort came to my heart from the God of all comfort, Jesus Christ. I share it with everyone with the hope that it will bring comfort as you travel through your "personal" time of grief/sorrow.
There are all types of sufferings in this world that people go through. Some sufferings are more difficult than others. Some sufferings take people to a place of grief they have not known before. When you travel through suffering, you don't have to be alone. Jesus wishes to be there with you to carry your load. Take the time to call on Him and He will answer you in your time of need. He is not afar off. He is as close as the mention of His name. While suffering may not leave you immediately, there is one name, Jesus Christ, that will travel with you to the end. He will not leave you or forsake you during your time of suffering. Use Jesus as your comfort and remember He is there for you long after your suffering has passed. Embrace Jesus' love through this message for he wishes to embrace you at this time. Shalom, God's peace be with you at this time.

Keechy DEFINITELY gone way too soon!! I've known Keechy for over 5 decades and he was the same to me as day 1 from early High School days. Condolences to all family and friends on his transitioning. I grew up on Mount Hill with Keechy and was President of Western Stars Sports Club when he played for Dandy Town. I am shocked and deeply saddened by the passing of my friend. What a terrific person he was. Always smiling and upbeat. A blessing to the world. RIP my dear brother.
