CAMERON OLSON of Morristown, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2023, at the age of 26. Our family is shocked and saddened by this loss. Cameron was born on July 31, 1996, in Murray Hill, New Jersey to Kristen and Royal Olson. Cameron is survived by his parents Royal and Kristen, and his brother Nolan along with his extended family.Cameron touched so many lives in his short time on earth. He attended Spectrum 360 (a program for children and adults with intellectual disabilities) from the age of 6. The students, teachers and staff were always greeted with his big smile and his trademark peace sign whenever he roamed. Spectrum 360 was a big part of making him the wonderful person he was.A special part of Cameron's life was his second neighborhood in Paradise Falls Lutheran Association (PFLA) in Pennsylvania. Our gentle giant could always be seen walking the grounds, socializing on the beach, "working" in the tearoom, and greeting everyone as they arrived or left for the weekend. This wonderful community was always accepting of who he was and cared for him like he was their son. Paradise Falls was the community who supported him during his final moments during the tragedy that took his life. Cameron's ashes will soon forever be a part of the PFLA community's memorial garden.Cameron was also a long-time visitor to the country of Bermuda. Cameron befriended many of the taxi drivers, who would cherish and enjoy his presence as the co-pilot on trips around this beautiful island and honk at him as he waved at them in friendship when walking around town. This was a special place for Cameron where he cultivated beautiful friendships over the years.Cameron's visitation and service will take place at Gallaway & Crane Funeral Home, 101 S. Finley Ave, Basking Ridge NJ, 07920 on Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10.00am to 2.00pm. Funeral Service will be at 1.30pm at the funeral home. A separate service for the Paradise Falls community will be held on July 29, 2023 at 6.00pm.
