AUGUSTUS FUNERAL HOME regrets to announce the death of Mr Vivian Leroy Ming, beloved husband of Sheila Ming (nee O'''Mara); father to Nathan (Theresa) Ming, Sheridan ( Wakeel) Ming and Shevaughn (Ivan) Young, son of the late Cecil and Dorothy (Minnie) Ming in his 80th year, of #18 Ferguson Park, Southside, St David'''s Funeral service arrangements will be announced later.A home-going service for Mr Carl Hult Pedro, beloved husband of the late E. Valerie Pedro, son of the late John and Hilda Pedro, father to Miranda Pedro, Meredith Stapff (Kirk), the late Carl V Pedro, brother to John Pedro and the late Frances Mooney in his 79th year, of Tatem'''s Hill, Pembroke will be held at St John'''s Church, Pembroke, TODAY, Wednesday, February 1st, 2012 at 4:00pm. There will be no viewing. Donations may be made to P.A.L.S at P.O. Box DV 19, Devonshire DV BX. Colours MAY be worn. Also surviving are grandchildren Gregory Doyles (Ashley), Hailey Doyles (Steve), Florence Pedro (Owen), Summer Mc Glynn (Barry), Kirk Marley Stapff and Stuart Kriendler (Olga); nephew Ronald Mc Carn; brothers-in-law Emlyn (Gwyneth), Glyn (Glenys), Ray (Glenys); and sister-in-law Mair Richards (Ronald); special friend Suki Hunt; and numerous other relatives and friends here and abroad.

Miranda and Meredith,
My sister Sandra informed me of your Dad's passing. All of the Paget Pedro's - my dad Howard, my Mom Sylvia, and my siblings Derek, Juanita, Pamela, and Sandra, were all saddened to hear the news. Your Dad was so very special to our family and we enjoyed many great times back in 'dem ol days'. Your Dad knew how to make everyone feel at home. He was always so joyful... always had a smile,.. and was always ready to help anyone. We shall miss him, and will always love him.

Farewell to our wonderful neighbour and friend, whom we will miss greatly. His qualities were many, and his outlook on life inspiring. Always cheerful and friendly, his home-spun philosophies were a delight. A loving husband and devoted father, he took great pride in being both. Gone but never forgotten - thanks to his legacy of happy memories and good times shared.

Miranda and Meredith I am very sorry to hear the sad news about your dad. Carl was a wonderful cousin to me, always ready to help me if needed like white washing my roof and cleaning my water tank and he was a very hard worker but he also knew how to relax I have very fond memories of the dance parties at his house or mine and other close friends, I can hear him now turn it up turn it up and I never once heard him get angry or say the wrong thing, I will miss Carl very much, I used to look forward to seeing his happy face on my trips to Bermuda. Carl is in Gods hands now and may God watch over and protect Carl's family.

Carl Pedro, was in my opinion a wonderful, proud, friendly, caring, giving, engaging, entertaining and loving man. I always made a special point to visit him when I returned to Bermuda to visit family and friends. In June of 2011, we enjoyed what was to be out last visit a good 3 plus hour chat and he informed me about his medical situation and what he was going through mentally and physically. So today, I find myself deeply saddened but not shocked of the news of his passing.
I am very sorry that I will not be able to travel to Bermuda for the funeral but I am sure I will be represented by my sons Bill and Allan.
Miranda, Meredith, Kirk and Summer you were blessed to have him in your lives. Carl was family and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to you all in your time of grief at the loss of your father and grandfather. My thoughts are with you now and in the days to come. Love Allan W.
