To the family of Charles, better known to us as "Watergate". A larger than life humorous character. We remember the many times we spent together when he was caretaker of Messina House. He let us have a surprise birthday party there. Then when he was on East Shore Road, it was a mere shout over the hedge to have him over for another birthday party. It was always a pleasure when we saw him. He struggled in health for years and he is resting in peace now. Our prayers are with you.

Much prayers of strength go out from our family to yours in this time of an extraordinary loss of a beautiful Soul, Man, Son, Dad/Step-Dad, Brother/Brother-in-Law, Uncle and Friend. Dear Leann and family,
What a pleasure it was to know Charlie. He was full of opinions, helpfulness, and best of all humour. He could make anyone laugh and enjoy their day.
Thanks be to God for creating a person like Charlie! May he RIP and rise in glory.
Will be such a miss!

My deepest condolences to Charlita, Michael and all of Charlie's family. Charlie was the kindest most helpful person I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a great neighbor to us and never shied away from passing on his vast knowledge of Bermuda houses and in particular the old houses on Boaz island. Lots of love to you all in this very sad time.
