Deepest condolences to Brenda, Claytina, Gerald and the entire Basden family at the passing of your dear brother, son, and father Chris. I have known Chris since 1972 when our family moved to Devonshire. Chris was a very high energy kid and was well known and well-regarded throughout the parish. I later met him again in life at the Bank of Bermuda, and later HSBC, where we worked together 12 years or more! He was a very funny, good humored, and very personable "Guy's guy" who loved to chat and debate everything from Cup Match, to football, to the politics and scuttlebutt of the Bank. I can hear his baritone voice as I think of him! He will be missed. May he rest in peace!

Condolences to Mr. Basden's family and friends at this time of deep loss. Chris Basden became my "go to fix anything man" at Berkeley - especially after Mr. Eversley passed. School was a better place for his humility, joy, easy to work with approach and his efficiency on the job. What a gentle giant. Our loss is Heaven's gain but there's nothing to fix in Heaven, Basden!
