Christopher "Heath" Bain, born July 12, 1981, died July 8, 2012.
Receiving friends today, July 28, 2012, from 5 to 6 p.m. and a memorial service at 6 p.m. at The Coffey Center (beside Parkway Funeral Home.) There will be music from 5 to 6 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Chris Bain; grandparents, J.T. and Del Bain and Carl and Louise Coffey.
Survived by wife, Melissa Daniel Bain of Muscle Shoals; his mother, Melinda Coffey Bain of Courtland; aunts, Nancy Giles of Courtland, Susan Terry of Moulton, Pam Parker of Courtland; uncles, Andy Coffey of Bremen, Kenneth Coffey of Trinity and numerous cousins and a little brother, Zackary Smith of Town Creek, and a wealth of friends.
Heath was raised in Moulton, a graduate of Lawrence County High School and The University of North Alabama and was pursuing a master's degree at Lipscomb University.
Heath was baptized August 27, 2000, at Loosier Church of Christ where he served as a Sunday school teacher and occasionally preached.
Heath's love of music began at an early age. He got his first guitar for his 12th birthday.
Some of his younger jobs were yard mower, furniture store mover, dishwasher (local restaurants), processing textbooks (school system), Scotts Guitars, Alternative School later named Judy Jester Learning Center (Lawrence County school system) and currently as an RV Spokesperson for Soles 4 Souls. Some organizations Heath was involved with include Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Hospice of North Alabama. Heath loved music and playing guitar. His passion was serving Christ.
