I first met nurse Stovell in the early 70's at the Victoria Street Clinic...After seeing a doctor, she was the next medical person one had to see...As I remember her,she was an extremely professional lady and always wore a beautiful smile....It has been many years since l last saw her and was shocked to read this notice here...I know there are many that can attest to her medical as well as friendly manner.....She will be a great miss...God Bless her family...May she rest in peace...

Our deepest condolences to Quinton, Curtis and families on the passing of their mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was such a beautiful person and loved the Lord. She was always the same, always gave a big smile whenever she saw you. As a matter of fact you could hear the smile in her voice whenever you spoke to her over the telephone. She loved to travel and enjoyed sharing her stories about her travel experiences always with a laugh or with a joke. She loved hats and was never completely dressed unless she had one on. Rest in peace My Dear Friend for you were truly a Woman of God and will sorely be missed.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to Quinton, Curtis, and the entire family of Nurse Cynthia Stovell. She was a special lady and now an angel. I am glad I had the opportunity to speak with her during my visit to Bermuda in early November. She was her bubbly self and we talked and reminisced about our days on the job in the halls of the Victoria Street Clinic. These are memories I will cherish just as you have a lifetime of memories to cherish of such a wonderful soul, now gone but never forgotten. Find peace as the days go on as you honour and remember your cherished family member. Rest in eternal peace Nurse Cynthia Stovell.

Quinton (Pancake) & Curtis, my heart goes out to you & your families for the loss of your mother. I know your mother was well loved and she held a special place in my heart from as early as Harrington Sound Primary School. This is where I first encountered her kind smile & gentle touch as the school nurse! We were toddlers @ the time, but I never forgot how she cared for me... & sooooo many others. Rest assured, she will be missed by everyone.
May GOD provide you guys solace during your time of grieving, especially during this holiday season.

To Quinton, Curtis, and all of the family. My condolences for the loss of a wonderful mother and grandmother. Cynthia was a person of such strong faith, by which she lived her life. A wonderful nurse, loved and respected by those who worked along side her and by everyone she cared for. I will always remember her warmth, wonderful smile, and infectious laughter, and love of life. My last memory of her is a photograph taken this year looking as always stylish with a hat perched on her head at just the correct angle, and that beautiful smile.
Rest in peace, Cynthia.

Condolences to Mrs. Cynthia Stovell´s entire family. Mrs Stovell was a Jewel amongst us, with a motherly presence that you could only look up to with the highest level of respect. This was both in her professional and personal journeys. It has been an honour to have known a woman who was verbally a straight shooter while possessing strong ethnics, morals, graciousness and encouraging these characteristics in others. God Bless her Soul and May She Rest In Peace.

Cynthia was a warm, welcoming lady. It was a great pleasure for me to work with her over the past 18 months. She had a very positive aura, and a great sense of humour, so we had a lot of fun. Cynthia had many great stories from her days at the Department of Health. I always looked forward to visiting her, and I shall miss her. My sincere condolences to Curtis, Quinton, and her extended family.
