DANVERS SEYMOUR Obituary
A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. DANVERS ""DANNY"" O'KEEFE SEYMOUR Sr., son of the late George Seymour and Rosalie Seymour (Wilkinson); loving father to Dana Greaves (Allan) and Danvers "Dio" Seymour Jr (Tracee) in his 76th year of 2 Field View Lane, Sandys, will be held at St. Paul AME Church, 59 Court Street, Hamilton, Today, February 5th, 2026 at 12.00pm. Interment to follow at St. James Church Cemetery, 90 Somerset Road, Sandys. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Jallande', Dazhja and Jaellan Greaves, Allanae' Dowling, Jaz, Jadan and Jya Ratteray-Smith; great grands Dezi Greaves-Wright, Syncere, Syniah and Synaa Smith; sister Marchelle Seymour and Patricia Seymour (late); nephew Craivon Seymour and Dean Seymour (late); Mother of Children Judy Seymour and numerous family, friends and community organizations. The family requests for your school or local football team colors to be worn.

Condolences to the Seymour family, the last time I saw Danny was at Dandy Town field watching a football game just as happy as ever. I was amassed at how he managed to get in his car and drive off. I remember him way back from growing up on the Curve with his mom, dad and 2 sisters. What a lovely family they were. Danny was always quiet but a happy person andI will remember working under him at the Youth and Sport Summer Day program as a fair and kind leader. Please be comfortable knowing that he suffers no more and live in hope of seeing him again one day as his soul rest in peace. My husband expresses how he was a great coach at Dandy Town.

You have my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Danny. I remember him from Berkeley and later years became colleagues at Dellwood Middle School. When I loss my husband he personally came to my home to deliver a gift from the Dellwood staff. I never forgot his kind gesture . Over the years we would chat but hadn´t seen him in a long time. Sending heartfelt condolences to Dana and Danvers Jr and the entire family on the passing of Danvers Sr. We were colleagues at The Berkeley Institute. Our association grew when we worked for the government summer day camps. Danny's athletic abilities were a tremendous asset to both our school and the summer programmes. Although he was a quiet and super private guy, he will be missed. May God's love comfort you all.

My deepest condolences to Danny's family and friends.
I was the PE Teacher at Sandy's Secondary when Danny was at Warwick Secondary and played against his teams when he was the coach at Southampton Rangers and Dandy Town.
Through both education and football I got to spend many hours with Danny. He was a gentleman and a competitor that always wanted to do things the right way.
Through education and football he touched the lives of many in Bermuda. Always setting a good example.
I have not seen him for many years and I am saddened to read of his passing.
Bermuda has lost an ambassador.
