I met "David" - he did not want me to call him by his last name, when I was 17 years old in 1988 and a mail delivery girl at E&W. The entire staff were phenomenal yet David stood out. He pushed me and I was promoted a few times. Mr. Whittle gave me a scholarship to become an accountant. David, as much as he supported me reminded me how miserable I would be as an accountant! He was 100% correct and Mum had a fit because I turned the scholarship down - David always remained a steady intrepid person I am grateful to have know him.
