Firstly let me thank each and everyone who shared in the celebration of Life for my Daughter's Father Derion Symonds a.k.a Colonel.
As we may know Darren had his challenges, but what some of you may not know is he never gave up trying!!
I will forever be Thankful for sharing a beautiful daughter with him as there is NO getting away from that anyway, because she is the splitting image of him.
No matter what challenges Derion had Ande'sha continued to support her daddy in anyway she could which also meant putting him in his place at times too.
Andesha & I never judged Derion for his choices in life. I want you all to do the same "Judge Not"
As we bid farewell to Derion, let us carry forward the love and laughter he brought into our lives. Though he may no longer be with us in body, his Spirit will forever be in our hearts, reminding us to cherish each moment and hold on tight to the bonds of family.
Sleep in Eternal Peace Colonel.

I was saddened when Sis. Deanna shared of the passing of her husband. It was during a church officers' training weekend, not too long ago, that I sat next to a brother who spoke to me as if he'd known me for a very long time. This pleasant and vibrant individual, whom we met at the church's Youth Centre, will long be remembered.
Be comforted, Sis. Deanna, family and friends, knowing that the blessed hope is still true for all who die in Christ.
