Funeral for Dewey Leon Parker, 90, of Moulton will be today, April 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Edward LouAllen officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.
Mr. Parker, who died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Lakeland Community Hospital, was born February 25, 1922, in Moulton to Walter and Lily Jarrett Parker. He was retired from Redstone Arsenal and Battle's Security. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Bernice LaFeveris Parker; one son, Tony Parker; one brother, James (Bertie) Parker; and one sister, Evie Dean (Leonard) Horton.
Survivors include two sons, Leon (Sue) Parker of Houston, Ala., and Tommy Parker of Moulton; two grandchildren, Stacy (Stephanie) Parker of Hartselle and Michelle (Lee) Brewer of Moulton; four great-grandchildren, Austin and Blake Brewer of Moulton, Dakota Linderman and Haley Brooks, both of Hartselle; and one brother, Raymond (Cathalene) Parker of Cullman.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Horton, Chester Parker, Jeff Parker, Steven Horton, Terry Horton and Waymon Potter.
