It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of DOUGLAS (BUTCH) MARCUS in his 72nd year, beloved husband of Rosalie Marcus, son of the late Tracey Marcus and the late Ada Hayward; loving nephew of the late Nora Phillips, loving father to Deon Young, Kallie Marcus, stepdaughters Tionea (Sheldon) Effs and Kim-Kitta Butler; brother to Maria (late Eddie) Russell and Gloria Mathis. He also leaves to cherish his memory grandchildren Naila and Gillian Young, Asaar Marcus, Te'arja Tucker-Phipps, Tahj Effs, Cameron and Cyrus Butler; nieces and nephews Lisa (Damian) Brewster, Desiree Mathis, Atiba (Almarie) Tucker, N'Gina (Carlos) Butterfield, Grant family and numerous other dear relatives and treasured friends too many to mention.

My sincerest condolences to the entire family of Butch Marcus. The news of his passing came with much sadness. I knew Butch, for many years he worked for my company and was one who maintained a positive attitude and was always giving good advise to everyone. He was trust worthy and a role model. May his memory endure among his family and freinds. I pray his family find solace in their hour of bereavement, and may he rest in peace.
