DOUGLAS "GEORGE" POPE, 88, passed away peacefully after a short illness on October 17th, 2025. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Christine, and leaves behind daughter Audrey (Kent); son Andrew (Julie); sister Mona; loving partner Helene and numerous relatives and special friends in Bermuda and the U.K.He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.A celebration of his life will be held in his adopted hometown of Leek, Staffordshire, U.K. George adored his cats, so he would be happy to know that in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made in support of CATS Bermuda: Bank of Butterfield account 060 1640320015.
