Darling Gwen - I´m sorry this comes so late after Duncan´s passing. My thoughts and love go out to you. I send you many tight hugs. We only met Duncan once, the last time we were in Bermuda. What a lovely man! I hope he is at peace and somehow can meet up with my Tom.

To his beloved Gwen and all of his extended family, may I offer my condolences for your loss.
May his light carry you through always and forever.
Let´s travel back 40 or so years... I met Duncan at his home upon occasions.
First impressions always count.
He had this solid but cheeky smile that emanated graciousness and warmth.
As a young lady, less of 20 at the time, one never forgets that.
Upon future visits home to Bermuda I would see him and that same smile and warm kind energy still pervaded.
I always remember that, it sticks with me, even now..
May that warm, kind and gracious energy that represents your soul Duncan, surf your spirit into heaven gently and keep you forever, with lots of laughs, always.

Dear Gwen, My deepest sympathy on your loss of your loving husband, partner, and friend to so many. The memories written her in by my contemporaries capture his personality to a "T". He was a large man in size and presence. I remember Duncan introducing you to me as he proudly told of your career, stories of your meeting and future plans. Our paths crossed occasionally during the years I worked in Bermuda but your warm beautiful smile was always welcoming. May love bring you comfort and time bring you peace.

Deeply saddened to read the news. Duncan´s presence was large in my childhood and later known more personally with Gwen as temporary Paget house sitters. A charismatic fellow with an unbelievable love for his wife & partner. My thoughts are with you Gwen at this most challenging time.

I loved Duncan as a brother. He was always there to get you out of trouble- or into it. We were always glad to see each other, and sad to say goodbye. He will be missed.

Fond memories of Duncan at Elephant walk and Windy Hill. We first met in the early 80's, played a lot of golf at Mid Ocean and became good friends. He was the best man at our wedding. We will really miss him. Condolences to Gwen, who must be devestated.

I knew Duncan in the late 70s early 80s, he wasn't a close friend but he was a good friend and he will be missed.
