My Deepest Condolences to Charmain & Family,

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Smith, affectionately known as 'Big E", in the HM Customs Long Room in Hamilton in the late 1970's.
She was a force to be reckoned with and had a wicked sense of humour. She was a 'no nonsense' person and always mentored the young officers who at times felt intimidated by their co-workers.
She was one of a kind. Although I would had not seen her in several years, I will always remember the kindness she showed me as a young officer.

Rest well, Big E.
