I just Exhaled. Mrs. Trimm´s passing is like that of my Mom(Nora Phillips) of Cedar Hill. I´m sooo saddened and very sorry I never got to see Mrs. Trimm again in my life. I have a letter that she wrote to my Mom, back in the 1960´s, when my Mom left Bermuda. They were great girlfriends. To the Family, my deepest Condolences. I lost my biological mother 16 years ago. Neenie our name of endearment for our Mom (Mrs Edna Trimm) truly became a Mother to me. She adopted me, but our relationship was not merely one of adoption. She took me in as her own.
Neenie was quiet in disposition, but her love for us all was loud. She cared deeply for her family and demonstrated this during family gatherings - I'm imagining a piece of her farine pie right now. She had an inner strength which transcended comprehension.
Until about 4 years ago, it was phenomenal to watch her age backwards. I liked that she challenged me during our walks together - she once told me not to worry if I couldn't keep up with her (I smiled).
In so many ways was she a Proverbs 31 Woman! I remember and basked in her giving me godly advice.
I am so happy that you took me in as your daughter Neenie - for me it is nothing less than an honor. Thank you. I love you dearly. It is a privilege and worthy of admiration that the Lord allowed you to see 4 generations of your offspring! We will all miss you. You're precious to us, but we are reminded that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. We mourn in hope. Rest in peace, Neenie.
