Ernest Stempel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of ERNEST EDWARD STEMPEL in his 93rd year, the dearly loved husband of Brendalyn Stempel in Cape Town, S. Africa on April 13th, 2009 after a short illness. He was the beloved father of Diana B. Bergquist (Lars); Calvin P. Stempel (Jennifer) and Neil F. Stempel (Carla); he was pre-deceased by his son Robert R. Stempel. Also surviving are his grand-children Philip and Nicholas Bergquist; Brooke, Carly, Alex & Devon Stempel; Samantha & Robin Stempel; his sister Marjorie Politoske of California; his step-children Kerry Oetz (Manfred) & Glen-John Hoffman and their children Emma, Hannah & Jacob Oelz & Dylan and Liam Hoffman in S. Africa together with nephews & nieces in the United States. There will be a service of thanksgiving in S. Africa on April 17th. Arrangements are pending for the funeral in Bermuda and a memorial service in New York.

Dear Diana...We still remember the great
