Carol and April, we are praying for you and your families as you remember and celebrate your father´s life. We have fond memories of "Erskine" when he was married to Marie (my first cousin) and Michelle. Erskine and our father, Mr. Ernest Roy (Tubby) Richardson, shared a special friendship. Our son Sterling and I shared a lovely New Year´s Day with Erskine and Michelle while visiting my father in 2018. Carol and April, your sons and Andira loved their "Uncle Tubby". While visiting, Erskine always brought his grandchildren to see their Uncle Tubby. They especially enjoyed listening to Uncle Tubby as he regaled them with stories of his cricket and Cup Match career. We were thankful that Erskine prayed with our family via WhatsApp when our father was at Agape House and when he served as an officiant during his homegoing service. Last October, we were touched when Erskine prayed and shared heartfelt remarks at the celebration service for Tracey, our Brother and Uncle. We pray these sentiments bring you love, peace, and joy.

Our loss of a wonderful man is Heaven's gain. Dr. Simmons was very supportive of me when I felt the call to ministry. He came to all my pre-leaving speaking engagements and always said an encouraging word. He was a good Headmaster when he was at the P.S.S.G. Secondary. Sending my sincere condolences to the family.

It was a pleasure and privilege to participate alongside Dr. Erskine Simmons in the 'Walk To Calvary" presentation for a number of years. He was a source of inspiration as he shared his wealth of knowledge and experience in numerous areas of life. He has truly made footprints on the sands of time for which he will be remembered. May God comfort his loved ones.

Our sincere condolences to Carol, April, and the entire family. I met your dad in 1996 when Rev Wales n I were in Ohio. He flew home to Bermuda to marry us in 1997. We moved to Ohio, and my husband n I house sat for he and your mom (RIP) many times. We considered him to be a distinguished gentleman, and a true soldier of the cross. He was a mentor to Rev. Wales. We will certainly miss him.

I did not know Dr. Simmons well, but he and Michelle were always gracious in having volunteers of the Caring Place to their home for dinner. His family must have been proud of him and I pray for their comfort during their grief. God's blessings.
