Grampy, as my family called him will be forever in our hearts. His grandson (age 4), named after him, Brayden Gerald Hurd, says he will always remember the M&Ms that Grampy would give to him every time he visited. Angelina, his eldest grandchild says that she will see Grampy again someday in heaven. Jerry was such a kind, loving and giving soul. He shared a positive light with everyone he came into contact with him, whether they knew it or not. I'll miss him dearly .

Goodnight sweetheart
Being with God must be so beautiful. You're free now to breath and play again. A lot of living to do here, but when its my turn we'll dance like we did the first time we met and touched...for eternity, See you in my dreams

Mr. Hurd was such a positive, humorous, loving man with a constant smile. He and his wife Kay make our jobs at Pacific Medical Center so rewarding. Our heartfelt love and sorrow go to Mrs. Hurd and family.
