We have many very happy memories of staying with Robert and Pam his lovely wife, in their wonderful home in Playa Blanca, that they built together over 25 years. They were both always so hospitable, kind and looked after me so well latterly Chris too.
We were very grateful to be able to reciprocate some of their hospitality when they got stuck at Gatwick airport, at beginning of Covid. They stayed with us for a few weeks until they could get a flight home.
Robert was always the perfect gentleman and was respected and held in high esteem by all the locals in Lanzarote, especially the restaurateurs.
Chris enjoyed helping Robert with some of his projects down in his workroom in the cellar.
Robert always supported my efforts swimming in the sea and celebrated with me when I finally managed to swim to the green buoy and back again at Dorado beach!
Robert was a great friend and we enjoyed many an evening chatting!
Robert you will be greatly missed.
R.I.P. Robert

Wow 20 years of beautiful memories. Robert and his wife Pamela always helped raising money for charity events I ran. When Pamela took one of our puppies back to the house Robert instantly fell in love. Robert was always to kind to my son speaking about fixing and mending things until the cows went home. I was lucky to say my goodbyes at his funeral in Lanzarote. I am so happy that his amazing daughters (who he would always talk about) well get to say Their final goodbyes also.
Don't worry Robert, we will look after you Pammy. Love to you from Freya and half pint
