FREDERICK KEMP Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of FREDERICK (FRED) KEMP, formally of Bermuda born on July 1st, 1957. Fred died peacefully at the age of 67 on July 8th, 2024 at the palliative care unit of the O'Leary Community Hospital in PEI Canada. Fred was predeceased by his parents George (Joe) Kemp and Rita (Donkersley) Kemp and brother Bryan Kemp and is survived by his sister, Judy (Kemp) Wakefield. He leaves behind his wife, Andrea Kemp (nee Leger) of 44 years, daughters Tanya (Gregory), Cheryl (Chris) and son Shawn (Erica), and grandchildren, Hannah, Brooke, Parker, Colin and Isla.In lieu of traditional mourning, we will hold a private celebration of life ceremony at a future date.Contributions to the palliative care unit of the community hospital in O'Leary PEI or a charity of your choice in Fred's memory will be welcomed.

While Fred lived in Bermuda he had so many friends and was the big brother of our Sun Valley crew. He was always there for anyone who needed him. He will not be forgotten. Thank you for all the great memories Fred

To Andrea and all of Fred´s family. Please know that Fred was a great friend here in Bermuda during his teenage years. He always had a smile on his face and would do anything to help his friends. I fondly remember him and an old boyfriend of mine diving off of a cliff known as "Test Pilot " located at Stonehole Beach. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to all of his family.
