A homegoing service for GARY TESFA MAKAL ("SPOOK, LOCKS") GOODWIN ASCENTO, beloved father of Garena Swan; son of Robert (Andrew) Ascento and the late Joan Napier nee Trott Ascento; loving life partner of Dellamae Swan; stepdaughter Karimah Hollis (Jerome) and special son; Kareem Hollis; brother to Henry Ascento, Murry Bartley, Ondrey Ascento, Sharlene Ascento (Collin), Joan Ascento (Nathan), Renay Rock (Patrick) and the late Andrew Ascento, Joseph Ascento and Howard Ascento Sr., in his 66th year Heritage Road Smiths will be held at Christ Church Devonshire on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 at 1pm. Internment to follow the service in the Christ Church Devonshire Cemetery. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home Orchid Chapel on Monday, March 30th, 2026 from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and at the Christ Church Hall on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 from 12noon to 12.50pm.
