AUGUSTUS FUNERAL HOME REGRETS TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF: - Gary Edwin MacNeil Simons A homegoing service celebrating the life of GARY EDWIN MACNEIL SIMONS, Loving husband of Lois Simons (nee Hayward); father to Sheri (deceased), Edwin and Devona Simons, Kineta Fox (Kenneth) and Rosina Bala (Rajendra); the beloved son of late John and Margaret Simons (nee Darrell); brother to Bradlyn Darrell-Vanlowe (deceased), Franklyn Simons (Marrietta), Oliver Simons (Margaret), Clinton Simons in his 80th year of 72 Happy Valley Road, Devonshire, will be held at Salvation Army North Street Citadel on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2.00pm. Interment will follow at the Methodist Cemetery. Viewing to be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 6.30pm - 8pm. Loving survived by grandson Kenneth Fox III; granddaughters Raina Bala and Kennedy Fox; aunts Illys Richardson; godchild Allan Butterfield; brother-in-laws Walter, Colin and Vernon Hayward; sisters-in-law Edith Thomas, Olive Butterflied, Jennifer Dill (Reginald), Ann Ming (Floyd) and Gloria-Jean Hayward; special cousin Sheldon Darrell and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.Predeceased by aunts Olive Matthews, Grace Simmons, Laura Daley, Charlotte Cann, Edith Butterfield, Gladys Bailey and Doris Smith; uncles Earl Thaddeus and Lawston Darrell, George, Sinclair and Edgar Simons; in-laws Winslow, Vincent, Charles and David Hayward, Marilyn Virgil and Linda Bennett.Covid-19 precautions and social distancing are to be observed.The funeral will be live streamed via JROC Live, link: (www.twitch.tv/jroctv2000)Augustus Funeral Home and Cremation Servicewww.augustusfuneralhome.com
