GERALD VANGURINE FLETCHERNovember 8, 1945 â€" June 19, 2025Born in Trinidad & Tobago as eldest of 8 children of the late Helen Fletcher John and the late Calvin Clarke.He leaves behind daughter Judy-Ann Fletcher Orrell (Jerry W.) of North Carolina, US and daughter Hannah Fletcher DeAllie (Christopher); and mother Karen Oliveira of Bermuda; granddaughters Tabitha and Lydia Cummings of NC; paternal Clarke brothers and sisters; special friends include Phyllis Correia, Aideen Fletcher, Marvin John, Nicholas Persad and other friends.A graduate of TT Technical School with certificates he worked for Dunlap Tyre, Shell Oil, TT Police Force before recruitment by Bermuda Government where he was a prison officer and later Constable of Bermuda West Division. He did maintenance for Fairmont Southampton Princess, Marine and Ports, finally process controller opening Tynes Bay until retirement in 2010.He was a member of Bermuda Lions Club, Bermuda Freemason Lodges and Sarasota Lodge #147.Service will be in Tunapuna, Trinidad & Tobago on July 9th, 2025 at 11am.

We are very sadden to hear about Gerald death. He worked with my husband Keith Midgley at Case Mates in Dockyard Bermuda. He was a true gentleman and great friend. We lost touch when we returned to England but always remembered him. R.I.P dear friend ( Dorothea nee Simons and Keith.
