AUGUSTUS FUNERAL HOME regrets to announce the death of Mr. Gilbert Ernest Aston Symonds. A home-going service for Mr. Gilbert Ernest Aston Symonds, son of the late John and Theodosia Symonds; brother to Richard Symonds the late Orman, Stanley, John, Darrell (Chick), Osbourne, Joseph and Fredrick; devoted uncle to JoAnna Symonds Wellman, Gail Symonds Thompson, Verneta Dee-Cee Symonds Taylor (Melton); great-uncle to Albert Easton, Vernon Symonds, in his 83rd year, of Bulk Head Drive, Warwick will be held at Augustus Funeral Home TODAY, Saturday, July 9th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery. There will be no viewing. Flowers may be sent. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Marjorie Symonds; The Powell family, special friend Dr. Hugo Mayers; god-children, nieces, nephews and other relatives too numerous to mention, friends here and abroad.
