About 6 months ago I ran into Gloria in a department store, and little did I realize then that it would be the last I saw of her.
My heart goes out to you and the rest of the family on your loss. Unfortunately, I am currently off island so I will be unable to pay my respects in person.
Please rest assured my thoughts and sincere sympathies are with the family, and I am sure that your fond memories of your sister will sustain you through this period of bereavement.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. I worked with Gloria for a number of years in the Tax Commissioner's Office. Gloria was a free spirited person who loved to have a little giggle. She will surely be missed. I pray that the memories you have of your mother will comfort you in the days and months ahead.

Aunt Gloria provided a faith filled family, support and love to me, Elyia and Anise. She was a strong, dedicated, loving Mother, Auntie, Grandmother, Friend and Daughter of the Lord. We are blessed to have her in our lives and my sadness for your family is palpable.

The last time I saw you was in you teens so you wouldn't remember me. I can tell you that your mother loved you so very much. You and your children were her world. My prayers are with you. Melissa, family and friends, I am really shocked. Glo' regularly corresponded by email, always with vitality, humour and bits of grandmotherly wisdom. At only seventy-two, I hoped she would be with us a lot longer. Her passing demonstrates for us just how tenuous this life is. When I ranted too long and too hard on a subject, Glo' had the ability to sort me out gently. I will miss her counsel. Glo', one of my first workmates, was statistically supposed to out-live me. She could see clear through me, and when she had to, accompanied her comment with a Glo' giggle and that smile, looking you straight in the eye. I hope your pain of loss does not distract you from the knowledge that she was so special.
