Mary Lynn please allow me to offer my most sincere condolences for your loss. My wish is that God will grant you and your family comfort during these difficult times. It was certainly an honor to have known Greg and was pleased to get to talk with him at Masterworks not to long ago. Times like this are never easy but my prayer is that you will have all the strength that you need to get through these challenging times. May God be with you.

I offer my sincere condolences to the family of Gregory Swan. I attended The Berkeley Institute with Gregory and recognized him as a man of character and integrity. I saw him when traveling from South Carolina to Bermuda several years ago - he was the same Greg...smiling and genuinely friendly. I am glad to have known such an accomplished friend. May God bless you during this challenging time. Consider meditating on Psalm 121.

I offer my sincere condolences to Greg's entire family. I know he will be truly missed by all of them. Greg was a gentleman's gentleman and a brother of the craft. You could always count on getting a good chuckle out of Greg. I was proud to call him friend/brother based on the inroads he made in his life and his handling of people in his profession. May he Rest in Peace.

Dear Merle, I just read the lovely article about Greg. What a shock to learn the news of his death months ago. If I had known I would have contacted you immediately. I hope someone reads this and calls to let you know I am sending you all my love and sympathy on the loss of your wonderful son. A true gentleman. A mother should never see the passing of any of her children. You are blessed with so many other grown children that you raised through the Adult Education School. May the memories of those others who follow in Greg´s footsteps be of some consolation. My dear friend, may love bring you comfort and time bring you peace. All my prayers, Nancy

To Aunt Merle, Mary Lynn & Family,
We are deeply saddened about the passing of your son, brother, and our lifelong friend, Greg. Greg was a gentle, jovial personality who always greeted you with a smile and injected humor in every conversation. It was always a pleasure to be in his company because he looked at life as an adventure to be enjoyed. He never seemed stressed and was a gentleman at his core. Everyone loved Greg. It seems just yesterday that we visited with you and shared the Homegoing Service Programme for our brother, Rev. Coolidge `Danny´ Durham, also a friend of Greg´s. Greg recounted their studying together at A & T State University and the fun times they shared. I vividly recall taking Greg around the University Campus as Aunt Merle made it abundantly clear that she had placed him under my care. This was not an option as Aunt Merle, my mothers´ schoolteacher and friend saw to it that my siblings and I received free lessons from the Adult Education School so that we would be prepared for life. My mom in fact, like me when I returned from college, spent a great deal of time, teaching and helping out at the school. Years earlier, my siblings and I helped cater many of Aunt Merle´s events along with Mary-Lynn and Greg and enjoyed all the leftovers as we cleaned up. Aunt Merle, we know that you are a woman of great faith and strength, and we feel blessed that Greg has transitioned to a far better place, where we hope to see him again. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and that we, your extended family feel blessed that Danny and Greg are together once again in a place prepared especially for them. May they both rest in peace.

A really nice person. I was happy to have worked with him while he was at TBI. He did a lot for our school system in generously providing internet services to our schools. Always was easy to work with and always had a friendly smile and greeting. May God continue to bless the family.
