Harold Gene Conatser

Crossville, Tenn.

Private graveside service for Harold Gene Conatser, 84, formerly of Decatur, will be held today at Roselawn Cemetery with Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Conatser died Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born February 15, 1928. He served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. His wife of 46 years, Mary Francis Knox Conatser, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Jeanetta Farr Conatser; five children, Harold Mark Conatser and wife, Kim, Sandi Conatser, Brenda Lile and husband, John, Vivian Turner and Sara Hughes; one brother, Glenn Conatser; six grandchildren, Lauren Larkin, Chelsi Turner, Trevor Conatser, Spencer Conatser, Sawyer Conatser and Mary Grace Hughes; and one great-grandchild, Heather Larkin.

Had lost contact with Gene after Mary died. We had some great times together & am sorry to hear of his passing. He was truly "one of a kind"! My condolences to all the "kids".
