I just found a letter he had written to my family celebrating my birth in 1987 while he was the Pastor of Pinedale Baptist. I have very fond memories of him and know he touched many lives. I've since moved from the area and was sad this afternoon to discover his passing. God bless him and his family.

Ethel, thinking about you and praying for your family. The memories we made at the little apt. on Main Street many years ago were brought to mind and I had to laugh. You had just started dating Jack then. You were blessed with a long, happy marriage. God's blessings. Joyce Floyd Blackburn
