Moulton
Funeral for Henry "Newt" Allen, 64, of Moulton will be today, September 6, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Chapel with Brother Randy Burns officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Allen, who died Sunday, September 2, 2012, in Elkmont was born December 19, 1947, in Giles County, Tenn. He retired as a superintendent from International Paper after 27 years. He loved to fish and spend time with family. His mother, Irene McSpaddin, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Nancy Allen; five sons, Troy Allen of Decatur, Chris Allen of Hartselle, Brad Allen of Trinity, Fred Clements and Lee Clements, both of Moulton; two daughters, Kristy King of Elkmont and Lori Alred of Trinity; two brothers, Bobby Allen and Paul Allen; one sister, Fannie Self; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Alred, Don Vance, Brett Vance, Troy Allen Jr., Drew Allen and Dillon Christopher.
Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Allen, Derek Christopher and Chris Arnold.
