For 70 years my sister treated me like the son she never had...On my birthday,she called to wish me greetings...She was the matriarch of my family and being a born again Christian from the age of 26,became the go to person for getting a prayer thru to God...Irma prayed for everybody even outside of the family...She was well respected by all family members... She helped to raise the 10 siblings under her and often stood in the gap as our mother in the absence of our mother...Given the opportunity,Irma would have told all church leaders her favorite 3 words....YOU NEED JESUS....Many of my nephews and nieces can attest to being told that on many occasions and will remember her 3 words for the rest of their lives....There will be a GREAT GETTING UP MORNING when the dead in Christ will rise first...l loved her dearly and I look forward to seeing my big sister again but until then,may she rest in peace....Jchristopher Simons

To the family and Friends of MS Irma, my sincere condolences. I am saddened to know she has passed, but our Lord has called her to rest, until that Great day ... when The Dead in Christ shall rise first and those who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet The LORD in the air: and so shall we ever be with THE LORD. Sis Irma was a Lovely woman of God. Family, may your memories cheer you as you remember her during your time of bereavement.

To Mildred, Allan, Althea and the entire family. It is with great sadness upon our hearing of the passing of Erma. She was a very special person with a kind heart, a devoted family matriarch and above all, had a great sense of humour. She was a devoted follower of the Lord and looked forward to each Sunday church going morning. We could not have had a better next door neighbour over all those years on Town Hill Road. Erma loved her family and especially the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She looked forward to the annual visits of our own Granddaughter (Charlotte) and the two of them created a special bond that even today, Charlotte never forgot and cherished.
Celebrate Erma (Grannies) life as that is what she would want.

Sincere and heartfelt condolences to Dr Althea Winifred, Sis Mildred and Bro. Allan, Joshua, Jodi, Ameina, Amilya, Owen, Donte and all the children and grandchildren and all the extended family. Mommy I was a very special woman, I am so grateful for all the prayers she prayed on my behalf. She was so giving and kind, a real WOG! She leaves a rich legacy!
