I have beautiful memories of time spent with Mrs. Symonds AKA Aunt Isla and Uncle Wallace. She was my first teacher and I walked to and from nursery school with her each day.
To Troy and Carlos your mom was a sweet, sweet lady. I have never heard her raise her voice. May she rest in peace.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Symonds.
She was a quiet, respectful champion.For years, I would quietly observe her and her raising of her 3 sons.Clever,smart, educated,intuitive, thoughtful: A woman with a clear vision and passion for the rearing of her sons. Their current lives speaks volumes.
May God above be with each member of her family and clearly know that Mrs. Symonds's life was a life fully lived.
