I spoke to Mrs Collis on the telephone, at her home, one time. The reason I called was to extend birthday greetings to her son John. I couldn't reach him. Nevertheless, Mrs Collis was exuberant and very friendly. She put a smile on my face. I'll never forget this.
Pass on to Charles, Graham & John my heartfelt sorrow for their mother's passing. I lost my mother too. And know the void well.
This feeling for a void lessens through time yet it dies not dissipate entirely. Loads of memories. Draw on them when you can, to put a smile on your faces occasionally.

My condolances to all the Collis families. Roger and I shared many nice times to get her with Margaret and Charles as our lives would rub together her and in London. I always enjoyed being with her; she appeared stiff but had a good sense of humor and view of the world. Lee Davidson
