Dear Shirley, family & friends,
I was so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I was privileged to work under him with the Bermuda Biodiversity Project. He was a wonderful, intelligent, supportive boss with a good sense of humour. The fruits of his contributions to environmental conservation are appreciated and will be built upon.

It has been over two decades since I worked in the Bermuda Public Service, and to this day, Jack´s dedication to the environment and conservation stands out for me as a key driver of and learning foundation for my own practice, and I am very grateful for this. His legacy spans far and wide. My sincere condolences to Jack´s family.

It was always a great pleasure to catch up with Jack, Shirley or Dillan - they are some of the nicest, coolest people you could meet. Jack will be missed by many as well as Bermuda in general. Our hearts go out to his family and colleagues.

My sincere condolences to Jack's family on your loss. I knew Jack through the public service and, more recently, the Walsingham Trust. He was a genuinely good guy. I always enjoyed our chats and, particularly, the social group which emerged from an early leadership programme. RIP, Jack.

Jack was the coolest man in the neighborhood just so free spirited. Always smiled and so kind. It was sad to see the family leave the Ave and now sad to know he has passed. Peace be with you Shirley and family.

It is with great sadness that I heard today of Jack's passing. My heart goes out to Shirley, Zara, and Dylan. I understand he went out sailing and saw family and friends very recently. His kindness and generosity deserved that reward.

I met Jack in 1963, we were in the same class at Whitney. As a young boy he was much liked and he grew to become an absolute gentleman. In recent years we reconnected and I cherished our conversation for its 'realness'.
I am very saddened to know that I will never again have that privilege. To Jack's family I can only offer my sincere regrets.
