Jan Jackson lived in Bermuda for years. She was a fine woman, with lots of enthusiasm, and 'get up and go'. I have been thinking of her, and wondering where she went when she left Bermuda, after living here for so many years. She served many sick in Bermuda, taking care of people in their own homes, and was a very thoughtful, conscientious, kind person. She had a great sense of humor, was a good cook, and always interested in what was going on in Bermuda. I hope that her remaining years were very happy ones, after she lived on our island for so many years. She cared for my grandparents in the early 60's and my mother in the late 90's. I'm sure that many people will remember the good nursing service that she delivered.
