AUGUSTUS FUNERAL HOME regrets to announce the death of Mrs Joan Elizabeth Christina Bean nee Smith. A Home-Going service for Mrs Joan Elizabeth Christina Bean nee Smith, wife of Ronald Rudolph Bean Sr, daughter of the late Christopher and Madeline Smith nee Darrell, mother to Bewel, Martin 'Mickey' (Pat) Bean, Karen Bean-DeSilva, Joann Furbert (Derek), Ronald Jr. 'Ton' (Patsy), Kerwin 'Copy' Bean (Belvina), Bettina Trott (Derron), Melvita Bell and Quedell 'Boogie' Bean, sister to Llewellyn and Darrell Smith, Wayne Louise Eaton and Vera Evans in her 85th year of 34 Spanish View Road, Smith's will be held at the Devonshire Seventh-day Adventist Church, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2pm. Interment will follow at Seventh-Day Adventist Cemetery, St George's. Flowers may be sent. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel this Saturday evening December 13, 2014 from 7.30 - 9pm also at Seventh-day Adventist Church, Roberts Avenue on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 1 - 1:55 pm. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Oliver Eaton, Kenneth Evans John Hardy and Lionel Young; sisters-in-law: Yvonne Smith, Beverley "Bapsy" Smith, Violet Samuels, Mahalia DeVent Avril Bean-Paul, Chiquita Hardy, Linda Wilkinson, Lucille Dixon, Josephine Young, Winifred Joell and Tanya Joanna Bean; numerous nieces and nephews; special nieces: Beverley Gallop, Bolita Sampson, Jeanne Anderson and Robert "Bo" (Hattie) McHardy (nephew); special cousins: Bonnie Burgess, Cora and Douglas Tucker; special friends: Grace Woodley, Sadie Young, Gloria Wooldridge, Esther Simons, Mary Lopes, Mrs Christopher and the Devonshire Seventh-day Adventist Church (DCL) Family.
