We worked with Joan, for many years where she displayed her beautiful, hardworking personality towards residents and visitors to the Island as she represented herself as a true ambassador in the taxi industry.

My condolences to the family of Ms. Joan Byron. I met her in Bermuda while visiting my friend, her niece Darnell. Aunt Joan was proud of her country and arranged for me to see the beauty and diversity of the land by organizing tours. I remember her warmth, passion and excitement and my own enthusiasm for the experience. May she rest in eternal peace , always in God's care. God's love and comfort to the family.

Ms. Byron was always kind to me .Michael and I attended Sandys Secondary together where we became the best of Friends . I would often go by his home looking for him and there I had a chance to talk with his mother . I assisted Michael to get his first job in construction and for that his mother was eternally thankful. Michael became an excellent mason. To know Ms. Byron was to love her . For years she was a Taxi Driver, providing transportation to both visitors and locals alike. She will be missed. My prayers are with her family and friends at this time .
